Summer activities have started

**Click on "schedule" for current schedule (This calendar is real time. Changes will be made as soon as they are known)**

Open gyms/Conditioning

When: Mondays and Wednesdays (in June) 5-7pm in the RHS gym
Conditioning: 7-8pm at RHS

What are they: Open gyms are an informal way to practice volleyball skills with other RHS student volleyball players over the summmer. Skills will be taught and drills will be run, but these sessions are not part of the volleyball season. They are a good way to meet the team and get comfortable with the coaches as well as get some more experience and conditioning before the season starts. Conditioning works to get athletes in shape for tryouts, work with agility, strength and injury prevention.

Who is eligible: Anyone who has current paperwork turned in to RHS is eligible. If you are a returning volleyball player, you do not need aditional paperwork at this time. If you are an incoming freshman, you are required to turn in your sports paperwork before you are cleared to participate.

What to bring: Water bottle, athletic shoes, comfortable clothes, knee pads if you have them.

Policy: All summer activities are optional and are not part of the tryout process. This means, you do not need to attend in order to play for RHS volleyball, nor does it guarantee you a spot on any team.

Before you come: Turn in athletic paperwork. Turning in paperwork will include buying an ASB card and pay to play. If you are unsure about participating, ask the office whether a refund is available should you chose not to. I believe in past years this was possible. However, once you have completed this process, you will nt need to do anything further for tryouts. Athletic paperwork should be found at the RHS website here http://www.rhsseattle.org/athletics.php#register, but there might be some broken links. If you find that any of the links are broken, you can find them individually listed below.
